Just built this last night for our girls for Christmas. They are going to LOVE it! What a fabulous idea. The shopping cart was great too....so realistic and sturdy. Have seen lots of other toy grocery stores and shopping carts, but none compare.

This stand wasn't difficult to assemble, but a little tricky -- my husband's good at this kind of thing, and it still took him a while. He concluded it was easier to assemble the main part upside down, then turn it over to attach the top part.
My 7-year-old daughter, who loves playing store, has stocked it with her toys to "sell" to me over and over, and she's only had it a week! Right now she's using the counter space to color pictures with a friend.
When I saw the name Melissa and Doug on the box, I knew this gift would be a sturdy, high-quality toy. We've gotten a number of other things from them in the past, and have always been satisfied.
